Q²M RestartWash REDEFINED is a concentrated acidic shampoo that removes both mineral and ferrous contamination in a single wash. Over time, water spots, limescale and iron particles build up on coated surfaces and hide the coating’s real performance. Q²M RestartWash REDEFINED removes them, so the coating’s water behavior and slickness come back.

Q²M RestartWash REDEFINED combines washing and decontamination in one step. Its new acidic formula targets mineral deposits such as water spots and limescale. The iron-removal chemistry from the original Q²M RestartWash still deals with ferrous contamination. It adds no protection of its own and doesn’t mask anything. It simply cleans the surface so a functional coating can perform as intended. High foam and excellent slickness make every wash safe and smooth. The dilution changes with how dirty the car is, from a light periodic refresh to an intensive decontamination wash.

Contact wash: dilute according to contamination level. 1:500 for light, 1:250 for standard, or 1:100 for intensive decontamination. Foam lance: use 40 ml of product in 500 ml solution. 03
Wash the entire car with a soft, high-quality mitt in straight-line motions, starting from the top. 04
Rinse well with clean water. Do not let the product dry on the surface. Dry with a suitable drying towel. Watch

What contamination does it remove? Mineral contamination such as water spots and limescale, plus ferrous (iron) contamination. Both come off in the same wash.

Is it safe for ceramic coatings? Yes. It is designed for maintaining ceramic-coated vehicles.

Can I use it on waxes and sealants? Acidic decontamination may affect some waxes and sealants. Q²M RestartWash REDEFINED is intended mainly for ceramic coating maintenance. If your car is protected with a wax or sealant, test on a small area first.

Will it repair a worn coating? No. Q2M RestartWash removes contamination that stops a functional coating from performing. It doesn’t regenerate a damaged or worn coating, and it adds no protection.

How is it different from Q²M Bathe? Q²M Bathe is for regular maintenance washing. Q²M RestartWash REDEFINED is a periodic decontamination wash, for when a coating starts losing its water repellency behaviour. For heavier contamination, use a dedicated product such as Q²M TotalRemover.

Which dilution should I use? Start with 1:500 for a periodic refresh. Use 1:250 for normal decontamination and 1:100 when the contamination is heavy.
